Reexamining the Detroit Lions draft philosophy

ESPN writer Kevin Seifert broke down the rosters of the NFC North teams recently and came across some interesting numbers. He broke down the off season rosters in terms of team draftees still on the roster. With offseason roster set at 90 players the fact that the Detroit Lions only have 30 players on their roster that they drafted is very telling on how GM Martin Mayhew has gone about building this team.
