Anyway we slice it the Detroit Lions will have three new starters along their Offensive Line in 2013. Starting LT Jeff Backus retired, starting RT Gosder Cherilus was lost in free agency, and starting RG Stephen Peterman was released. That means only Center Dominic Raiola and LG Rob Sims return for a unit that played much of the last few season together. There is a possibility that one true rookie and two virtually untested players could wind up as starters along Detroit's O line for the coming season.
