Detroit Lions week 7 in review

A loss is a loss, and a win is a win. There are no style points in the NFL these days. However,

for fans of theDetroit Lions Sunday's performance was very encouraging, even though they ultimately lost on the last play of the game. There is little doubt that most NFL pundits think of the Cincinnati Bengals as playoff contenders. Well, the Lions were able to play at that level and had opportunities to win this game. It is not perfect, and it will go down as a loss, but given where this team has been recently it should be looked on as a positive rather than a negative.
