The 1984 Detroit Tigers didn't have a true closer

It is easy to forget history sometimes, especially in sports where we get new memories almost every single day. So looking back at something that happened 29 years ago is a virtual impossibility. However, given the state of the 2013 Detroit Tigers bullpen it should be important to remember the last Tigers team to win a World Series title didn't start the season with a true closer. Granted the game is much different now, but the point is still valid.
